It just makes my blood boil when I read stories like this. I pray that Allah gives comfort to the bereaved family members. As Muslims, we must feel the pain of our fellow Muslims because frankly, no one else cares about us.

While these corrupt idiots bicker about power, the common man suffers. Sometimes I feel that the Palestinians won’t be any better off if/when they ever become independent.

I am sure many are making dua for them. But why aren’t our prayers being answered? I guess the answer is in two parts. First, it is simply Allah ’s will. He will grant peace and security to the Muslims whenever he wills. Second, Muslims don’t know how to make dua anymore.

We must all take heed from this and remember that what is happening to the Palestinians could happen to all of us. It isn’t difficult for Allah to decree this (may he forgive our transgressions). This advice goes to myself first before anyone else.
