If you repeat a lie several times, eventually people are going to believe its the truth. That’s what the media wants to drill in to the uninformed masses. ISLAM IS TERRORISM! ISLAM IS THE CAUSE OF ALL THE WORLD’S PROBLEMS! If you ever discuss religion, the question ‘Why do Muslims engage in terrorism?’ will come up for sure. This is the biggest lie of our times. To suggest that the inhabitants of the 55+ Muslim countries are all blood thirsty terrorists is to say that Israel is a peace loving nation. There’s no truth in either statement.
The points you make have some merit, but I would add another lie being perpetrated by the media and others: Islam is a religion of peace. It most certainly is not, despite the fact that many of its adherents are peaceful.
Of course, violence is not unique to the religion of Islam.
